Ctrl-Shift keys: some new keyboard shortcuts, using the Ctrl and Shift
keys together with a keyboard letter.
Option for Rotate/Skew/Scale/Transform about origin.
Overlay lines, via the "Overlay width" dialogue box in the
"Path/Mask" menu.
"Automatic following" option in the "Layers" dialogue box.
Only the current segment's control points are displayed while path
editing, in order to reduce display clutter when working with complex

These are the significant new features in version 1·3
compared with version 1·1. There was no
English version 1·2.
RiscPC support: 16- and 32-bit colour, deep and greyscale sprites,
dynamic areas, desktop font.
Can use system colour picker, if supported by operating system.
Enhancements to printing: declare fonts to the PostScript® printer
driver, background printing, new "EPS Illustration" option.
Sprites and palettes: option to add palette when loading sprite, for
correct colour display.
Quick copy: drag selected object with CTRL pressed to copy it.
Some menu changes, in accordance with Style Guide. Large
dialogue boxes split up to reduce complexity. File save and export
simplified. Compressed library file option now automatic.
Automatic conversion of special objects to Draw-compatible
form when saving.
Units can be specified for measurement entry and display, text size
and line width. Scale factors as decimal or percentage.
Rotation snapping to a user-defined angle step (far more useful than
snapping to the grid!).
Alignment improvements: can align to a locked object, more intuitive
selection of reference point.
Polygon create: dialogue box for number of sides, orientation of
polygon follows mouse.
More rigourous Draw file checking: EarthMap files can now be loaded
and displayed.
Bounding box create: now a dialogue box, additional
"Group with original" option.
Skeletons can be manipulated with the mouse in the same way as text
columns, and via the dialogue box in the same way as Replicates.
Dynamic skeletons can be interpolated.
Multi-line text objects. New "Text Layout" dialogue, replaces
"Line spacing" and "Kerning" options.
Three options to determine how objects are selected when a box is
dragged to enclose them: this can be changed for personal preference
or to make the selection more or less sensitive if required for a
complex drawing.

These are the significant new features in version 1·5
compared with version 1·3. There was no official
version 1·4.
JPEG image and deep sprite (greyscale, 32K and 16Mcolour) support:
these files can be loaded and saved directly. Sprites are displayed
in correct colours even if they don't have a palette. Automatic
conversion of other image file formats (with some limitations) using
ChangeFSI.
Dialogue changes: "Origin" combined with "Rulers"/"Grid", "Choices"
split up, new options in "Print Options" and "Page Size".
Selected objects can be moved to an arbitrary layer (selected from a
menu), not just the current one.
Can display position, size, etc. information in real time while
dragging (optional).
File overwrite confirmation (optional).
Store all in library: easy creation of library files from drawings
simply by dropping a drawing file onto the library window.
Library export: can directly save the contents of a library object
(sprite, JPEG image or text area).
Font blending: if supported by the operating system (RiscOS 3·7
and later), can be selected for any text object using the
"Text Layout" dialogue box.
Simple page setup: print options can be set up for a single page
drawing with just two menu selections.
New selection system (optional): eight handles instead of four,
proportional resize either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Can move or resize selected object in Edit mode.
Object bounding boxes: more rigourous checking when loading a file
(improves compatibility with applications that don't set bounding
boxes correctly).
